Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner Review & Chance to win $1,000 Spafinder Gift certficate

Hello readers!  Today I have something a little different to share with y'all.  It's still beauty related though :)

I was sent a bottle of Dove conditioner to review and to share my experience with my lovely readers. I have used other Dove products before but this is my first experience with their hair care products and like the other products I've used, it did not disappoint.  I was sent the Dove Intensive Repair Conditioner.

The first thing I noticed about it when I opened it was the really nice scent the conditioner has.  It smells REALLY good and it left my hair smelling really nice and fresh all day.  Even my husband commented on my hair smelling good lol.

With it being Summer, naturally I've done a lot of swimming and chlorine is so hard on my hair. Add to that horrible Louisiana humidity and my hair just doesn't stand a chance.  It gets really dry and frizzy and brittle feeling during the Summer.  After just a few conditioning's my hair had made a huge improvement.  It's really soft and shiny and the frizz is tamed!

It has a really thick consistency to it, it's not watered down and thin like a lot of conditioners.  Which is really nice since it says to leave on for 1 to 3 minutes.  I usually left it on for at least 3 minutes or more and didn't have to worry about it dripping in my face constantly.

I really like that I was able to use this every day and it not leave a heavy or oily feeling to my hair.  My hair feels clean and light and not weighed down like a lot of repairing conditioners I've used have left my hair feeling.

The only bad thing about it feeling so light and clean is that I did tend to have a lot of little fly away hairs when I would fix my hair or pull it back.  It was mostly the shorter hair around my face.

My 8 year old has used it too and her hair has been so shiny and healthy looking.  Unlike me, she has really thick hair and can be very hard to brush and after using the conditioner is has been really easy to brush through.  Which makes us both ecstatic because she's also very tender headed and HATES brushing her hair.  She, unlike her mother, didn't like the fragrance.
