Hey y'all!  Today I have another great thankful blogger guest post from one of my favorite bloggers, Lindsey from Neverland Nail Blog.  Lindsey has a great blog and she's very creative and talented.  She's also super sweet and a really beautiful person inside and out.  I'm so happy to share Lindsey's post with you today.  Thank you SO much Lindsey for giving me the honor of posting on my blog today.   XOXO, Amber

Hello there, awesome readers of Amber Did It!

My name is Lindsey and I'm visiting from Neverland today (well, Neverland Nail Blog that is =])! The lovely and talented Amber has asked me to prepare this guest post for you all as part of a special series all about giving thanks.

Thankfulness often comes to our minds this time of year, with the holidays rapidly approaching and visions of sugar plums begin their little dance in our heads =]. However, I am a HUGE advocate for being thankful year round! I truly believe that no matter the circumstances, we all have something to be thankful for simply because the fact that we have life! It's true, some are better off than others because we live in an unjust world, but a little optimism can go a long way. I don't know about you guys, but when I see someone experiencing some sort of hardship but chooses to carry on with a smile and a thankful heart, it's one of the most encouraging and admirable qualities I could see in a person. This is especially difficult when going through the issue firsthand, whether it be financial trouble, relationship problems, family conflict, or deteriorating health...trust me, I've been there. We've ALL been there. At that point, a person can choose to allow their problems to get them down OR they can, with the help of supportive family and friends, boldly continue on the path before them. I've chosen to remain positive and thankful, I hope you will, too =]!

I have SO many things to be thankful for, I really could go on forever. I'll try to keep it relatively short ;]! First and foremost, I am thankful for Jesus! I'm a Christian and I believe that He died to free me from my sins so I could join Him in heaven. He performed the ultimate act of love to save me, and all of you, from this crazy mixed-up world...how incredible is that!? I'm also extremely thankful for my loving family. We're a crazy bunch of people that know how to have a good laugh and I love that =]! I am super grateful for my sweet, supportive boyfriend, Brandon. He is my other half, I love him to bits =]! I'm thankful for my friends, my pets, my home, my car, the opportunity I have to go to school, my possessions, my clothes, my makeup, my nail polish (!!!), and so on. Oh, and one more thing...I'm thankful for COLOR! I just love colors, especially bright ones like these...

(Pardon the interruption, but HOW CUTE IS THIS???? Okay, back to your regularly scheduled programming~Amber)

I used China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, Zoya Shelby, and Kiko 389 for this spunky ruffian mani. Bright colors do the soul good =]! I hope you enjoy them, as well!

A special thank you goes out to Miss Amber for allowing my to hijack your super awesome blog temporarily ;D Lots of love, girlie!

One more thing...I am extremely thankful for my blog, every single one of my amazing followers, and the polish loving community as a whole. I've met so many amazing people who share my passion for nails and I just love how encouraging and accepting everyone is! I'm thankful for YOU=]!

Have a fabulous day!
