Halloween cling wrap nails

Hey y'all! I wasn't sure I was going to have time to do any Halloween nails but I decided to fore go a full 8 hours of sleep and did my nails before bed.  Nothing too elaborate but they are Halloweenish so I can deal with that lol.

I like it but I'm hoping that I'll have time later today to add some nail art.  Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a great day!  Happy Halloween!

Halloween Splatter nails

Hello!  I hope everyone had a good weekend.  I know that storm came through, I hope everyone in that area is safe and sound.  It was a pretty nice weekend here in Louisiana.  Friday was dreary but it was pretty the rest of the weekend.  It got cold too, yay!  Finally feeling like fall.  Hopefully it'll be cool on Halloween.  Last year I wore shorts and flip flops to trick or treat.  It's supposed to be cold, doesn't mother nature know that???

There's only a few more days until Halloween too.  I'm ready!  Although, my kids dressed up on Friday at school so it almost feels like it should be over now.  That kind of screwed up my internal calender.  lol  Never the less, it's not over so that means more Halloween nails.

I kind of love these.

I've said this 100 times but orange is one of the colors my camera hates.  The orange and yellow are both much brighter in real life and the base is actually white and not that weird cream color that it's showing here.   It does better outside but it was dark when I took these last night so I just used my lamp.

I haven't done a splatter in a while, I love splatter nails.  They're so fun!

Candy Corn Gradient Nails

Hey y'all!  Are you ready for Halloween yet?  I know I am and so are my nails.  Today I am wearing a Candy corn inspired gradient.  I kind of love this look.

I had a terrible time trying to photograph this one.  I ended up using the flash. It kind of doesn't look true to what it looks like in real life because of how the flash picked up the glitter polish (China Glaze Snow Globe).  In real life the glitter polish just looks white or clear, it's a nice accent.  My camera seriously hates certain colors, orange is one of them.  Even outside in natural light it wouldn't come out.  Blagnabbit!

I really do love it though and I have gotten tons of compliments.  I think I'm going to do some more nail art on it so I can change it up and wear it a bit longer so stay tuned.  :)

Have a great Friday!

Check out these awesome posts from the Beauty Blogazons.  Lot's of great posts this week!

NOTD: Orly Opposites Attract

Hey y'all!  Just a quick post to share my nails of the day.  I'm wearing Orly Opposites Attract. It's a magnetic polish.  My husband got this for me a while back.  He didn't know it was a magnetic.  Actually, I didn't either until I googled it lol.  I <3 Google!

It actually looks kind of purple in the bottle but it comes out like a sapphire tiger eye stone when it does it's magnetic magic.

I love magnetic polishes, they're so interesting to me.

OPI German-icure with Konad Stamping

Hey y'all!  I haven't done much stamping lately so I thought I'd break out the Konad.  This is OPI German-icure stamped with Color Club Antiquated.  I used Konad plate m60.

I don't know why but I can NEVER get German-icure to show the red in my photos.  It always looks like a chocolate brown.  :(

Mom and Daughter Halloween Nails

Hey y'all!  Only about a week and a half left before Halloween.  Yay!  Today's Halloween design doesn't jump out and scream "HALLOWEEN" but it's at least got all of the colors covered.

I have always liked this design, it's pretty simple and there are so many color possibilities.

Nail Craze with Dayze Guest Post ~ Halloween Nails

Hey y'all!  I'm super excited to share today's nails with you guys.  I was very honored to be asked by Daysi from Nail Craze with Dayze  to do a guest post on her blog today.  She asked that I do some Halloween nail art and I was happy to oblige.  There's also a cute Halloween survey on the post as well, so be sure to check out the post on her blog HERE.

This is a Halloween nail design that I've had rolling around in my head for a few weeks.  It's inspired by the Disney Channel's icon they have right now for Halloween. I just thought it was really cute.

I want to say a huge thank you again to Daysi, it really was a huge honor to be asked to post on your blog.  Thank you so much! :)

If you have never visited her blog before, you have to check it out.  She does some awesome nail art and she's very sweet.  So check it out and show her some love from Amber, Nail Craze with Dayze.

NOTD: Orly Fowl Play over Zoya Jem

Hey y'all!  Just a quick post today.  Thought I'd share my nails for today.  I broke out a hot item from last Fall's Orly Birds of a Feather Collection, Fowl Play.  This was the first flakie polish I ever bought.  It's really pretty.  I put it over Zoya Jem, I think this is a great combo.

The temperature is kind of mild today, I think the highs are going to be in the 80's. :/  But this polish totally puts me in the mood for sweaters and boots.  I love my fall clothes way more than my spring and summer stuff lol.

Isn't this a great polish?  I love it!

XOXO

NFL Nail Art Series #6 ~ Minnesota Vikings

Hey y'all!  Happy Sunday!  Today is the 6th week in my NFL nail art series and I chose the Minnesota Vikings.

I used Kleancolor Neon Purple and Sinful Colors Black on Black for the gradient and the rest is acrylic paint.  As soon as I put my clear coat over the art I started having some bleeding problems.  The purple was bleeding through the white and yellow really bad.  Blah!

How about this gradient though?  I love this combo, I feel a Halloween version of this coming on.

Thanks for stopping by today.  If you're a Vikings fan I hope you liked it :)  Go Vikings!

OPI Saran Wrap Nails

Hey y'all!  Have you tried the saran wrap technique yet?  I LOVE it!!!  I first saw it on Neverland Nail Blog. It's so cool looking.  It reminds me of marble.  For this I used OPI "My Very First Knockwurst" and OPI "Every Month is Oktoberfest".

Swatch of OPI "Every Month is Oktoberfest"

Swatch of OPI "My Very First Knockwurst"

What do you think?  Do you think saran wrap nails are as awesome as I do?
