More Client Halloween Nails

Hey y'all!  I could have sworn I posted this the other day but apparently I didn't.  I tried doing it from my phone so maybe that's where things went wrong.  Anyhoo, just wanted to share a few more Halloween nails I've done on clients and myself.  The first one is me.

I loved doing all of the Halloween nails I got to do this season.  I'm looking forward to Christmas now.  I LOVE Christmas nails and I hope my clients do too!!!

The Boogie Man

Hey y'all!  Only 2 days until Halloween!  Are you dressing up?  We get to dress up at work so me and one of my coworkers are going to do sugar skull make up.  I'm probably just going to wear all black and do my make up and of course my nails.  I'm still debating on what I want to do for my nails.  I think my main color is going to be purple so I guess I'll start there and see what I can come up with.

Anyhoo, today I am sharing a design that I am wearing right now.  It is inspired by the Spirit Halloween Store logo.  It turned out just as I imagined, I'm pretty pleased with it.

Pretty creepy huh?

I used Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers Purple Potion for my base color and the art was done with acrylic paint and then topped off with a coat of Out The Door.

Client Nails~Halloween Edition!

Hey y'all!  I'm officially working full time now and everything is going really well.  I seriously LOVE my job and the spa I work at.  It's so nice and my co-workers and bosses are really great.  I could not ask for a better place to work.  This is the first job I've ever had where I didn't mind going everyday lol.  I really only work 5 or 6 days a week, so it's not really every day but you know what I'm sayin' ;).  It's just a nice place to be.  If you want to check out where I do my nail thing, they have some pics of the mani/pedi room on the spa website HERE.  Just scroll to the bottom of the page for the manicure room pics.

I thought I'd share some Halloween nail art I've done on clients lately.

Full Set with acrylic bows and hand painted candy corn nail art using acrylic paint and gradient accent.

These is actually my daughter's nails :)  Loved the tiny bows on this one.  I'm getting better at making the bows!

Jack Skellington nail art using Gelish Gel Polish and acrylic paint.

Full set with Halloween polish and rhinestones.

Here's a full nail wheel I did to give clients an idea of Halloween designs they may want. I've actually done several but I forgot to take pics :/

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a good day!  XOXO

Guess Hoooooo is on Instagram now!!!

Hey y'all!  I am excited to announce that I have finally joined all the cool kids and have an instagram now.  You can follow me HERE.  Yay! It's pretty addicting lol.

If you are so inclined you can also follow me on Pinterest, Tumblr, Twitter, and Facebook.  :)

I'm not going to just pimp all of my social media sites out I swear. I would never do such a thing ;)  I thought I'd share an awesomely awesome mani I wore a few weeks ago using my favorite Hex nail charm.  Mr. Owl!  I love him, he makes me happy.  I am obsessed with owls right now....they're just so stinking cute.

I used Salon Perfect Scarlet Enchantment, OPI Man With the Golden Gun, and China Glaze Blonde Bombshell.  Love, love, love this mani!!!!  I have been wearing Scarlet Enchantment a lot lately, it's such a pretty red.  I'm not normally a red girl but for some reason lately it's been my go to color.

Anyhoo, thanks for stopping by.  Have a great week!  XOXO

Zombie Skin Nails

Hey y'all! I had this idea rolling around in my head for a few days for zombie skin nails and finally made it happen today.  I practiced on a false nail first and it came out exactly as I had hoped but it wasn't quite how I wanted it on my actual nails.   I still think it turned out pretty cool though.  I did the main design using the spray water marble technique.  What do you think?

My pinky is my favorite, it turned out the best.  The other fingers just look like I did splatter or something.

Here's a step by step gif when I was practicing on the tip.  I started out using a lighter gray polish and then randomly sponged a darker gray to give it a little bit more depth.  After the sponging I did the spray marble using the red first and then again with the black.  Then I finished it off with a matte top coat.

I am pretty pleased with how it all turned out.  I think I need to practice more with the spray marble.  I used hair spray and sometimes it would spread right and sometimes it wouldn't.  I guess once the water gets too contaminated with the hair spray it just doesn't work as well.

Shortly after doing this I ended up having to cut my nails down because they were all breaking.  I'm sporting super nubs right now and it really sucks.  Right before Halloween too :/  I hope they grow out a little bit so I can have super awesome nails with my costume.  My costume is going to be the bomb.com.  I did a practice run on makeup and will be posting that in a few days so stayed tuned!

Hope everyone is having a great week and I hope you enjoyed my post tonight!  XOXO
