Make sure to drop your polish really close to the water. Heck sometimes I accidentally touch the water with the drip while it is still on the brush and it doesn't hurt anything lol. Also, don't blow on your nails or shake the water off when you pull your fingers out of the water...both can cause bubbles. Some polishes just won't work for water marbling...it is all trial and error. It took me forever to get it to work. I was about ready to call it quits but then I decided to give it one last try and whadaya know...it worked LOL. Oh one other thing...for me the only water that works is distilled at room temp or even a little warmer...also make sure there isn't any air blowing in your work area because it will dry the polish on the water. You can google water marble tips and find some good ones...also youtube has some good ones for tips too. Good luck!!!!!Kelliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06825889964163032595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6740466626934213084.post-54599674379616045172012-06-07T13:22:16.262-05:002012-06-07T13:22:16.262-05:00i agree, the vaseline works very well! i used it f...i agree, the vaseline works very well! i used it for my 2 attempts at water warbling and it was way easier than tape.Try It With Carmellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10686010567790391638noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6740466626934213084.post-47515476967349415142011-07-20T15:04:39.145-05:002011-07-20T15:04:39.145-05:00Thanks for the tips! I like the vaseline idea too, that has got to be easier maneuver your fingers than with tape, that's really a pain in the butt to get off, especially if you're trying not to mess your nails up. lolAmberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14926580097634055248noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6740466626934213084.post-4355905166719712382011-07-20T14:43:57.092-05:002011-07-20T14:43:57.092-05:00another tip is to try putting some vaseline, cutic...another tip is to try putting some vaseline, cuticle oil or some other product that wont soak into your skin all around your finger instead of the tape - the polish will still go on the vaseline or whatever you use but you can wipe it straight off with a tissue!

were you putting your finger under the polish then pulling it up or putting the nail face down on the water? I find that putting my nail face down on the water helps get less bubbles, not sure why! :)

I think this is still great though, better than some of my poor attempts! I think it must be a difficult art to master and I know i'll never get there!

your thumb looks GREAT though!Ellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15032086148598729838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6740466626934213084.post-25313795582543530652011-07-20T12:45:04.625-05:002011-07-20T12:45:04.625-05:00You know what?
