OPI The Man With The Golden Gun

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a great New Years Eve.  I have a lot of mixed feelings about 2013.  Mostly my bad feelings are brought on by fear of the unknown and doing something new.  I'm not good with change and change is a comin' for me, in a BIG way!  More about that later though...and no I'm not pregnant nor will I be lol.

If you remember from my Christmas Haul Post I showed you the OPI The Man With The Golden Gun package.  Today I'm super excited to share my swatches.  This was what I ended up wearing on Christmas Day instead of the Candy Cane and Bow nails.  As much as I loved them, I think 18k gold trumps an acrylic bow any day haha.  The Man With The Golden Gun was probably one of my most coveted polishes of the year but I honestly didn't think I would ever have it.  My husband is the bomb.com.  He went to 3 different Ulta's to find me this polish.

This is OPI The Man With The Golden Gun over OPI I'm Not Really A Waitress.  This is also one of the reason I haven't had many posts since Christmas lol  I couldn't bare to take it off.

This is definitely going in my "special polish" box.  lol  I love it and I'm so excited to have it.  I did have mixed feelings about throwing away the cotton balls after I took it off.  I just threw gold in the garbarge, something just doesn't seem right about that. haha

  1. Very pretty. I also got The Man with The Golden Gun for Christmas. I have put it over black but, it really looks beautiful over red. I know how ya feel, I didn't think my husband was paying attention when I casually mentioned how much I wanted this polish....well maybe I did mention more than once ;) Great post and Thanks for sharing.

  6. I love that combo! I want that polish too.. and yeah, I'd feel weird throwing it away too! Also, you ever drink Goldschlager? Imagine what happens after you drink that... A fate worse than the rubbish bin, LMAO.
Anyway, a rich sexy red + gold is the perfect combination. I need to get my hands on this!

  7. I have not worn the fab classic shade, I am not Really A Waitress for well - maybe 2 years - it looks great with MWGG...I have to pull it out..so far my fav look for MWGG is been over Tomorrow Never Dies (cannot stop looking at my nails when I have that combo on)..and love it over an Tiffany blue like Essie T & C and...well any in that range that I have. I have not tired of the look at all and can see myself pulling it to wear at least once a month.
