Tape Mani: Aquadelic and Gold

I think I've been a little obsessed with tape mani's lately.  I love doing them.  This is China Glaze Aquadelic with Essie As Gold as it Gets and Nails Inc. The Donmar on top.  The half diamond was done using Sally Hansen Golden-I. 



I love the teal and gold combo.  Here it is before I did the diamond.

  8. When I tried the tape mani, the tape peeled off my first layer of polish. I used a top coat. What's the secret?

    1. I've had that happen to me so many times! You just have to make sure your base polish is completely dry and also before I put the tape on my nail I stick the tape to top of my hand or somewhere like that to kind of take some of the stickiness off. you don't want it too sticky. Repositionable or painters are the best types of tapes for this because they have just enough sticky and let you take them off easy.
