Howdy! Today is Day 2 of the Neverland Nail Blog's Summer Fun Challenge. Today's theme is "Summer Lovin".
I know, I really need to work on photography skills lol. I was using my homemade light box with these and sometimes I just can't seem to get the colors to be bright enough. If you have any advice on that, I'd love to hear it. I have my white balance settings set the properly (I think). It's like sometimes I can get a decent pic and sometimes I can take a 100 and not one of them makes me happy. SMH
For this mani I used China Glaze Kinetic Candy and Wicked Style, Sinful colors Innocent and Exotic Green, Klean color White and various acrylic paints.
Be sure to check out the other participants in this challenge below. XOXO

ReplyDelete(Especially since my boyfriend and I did engrave our initials in a tree in the summer. :D But that was two summers ago.)
Thank you! That is so cute that y'all engraved your initials in a tree <3 We've never done a tree but we did it a picnic table at the park once...nothing like defacing public property to show your love right? ;)
Deleteoh my goodness this is just precious!!! the thumb is the icing on the cake, i love it!!!1
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
Deletethe thumb is so cool!!! how did you make it look like that?
ReplyDeleteThank you! The tree trunk (and thumb) were done with acrylic paint because I don't own a brown polish (need to work on that). I just mixed several different shades of brown and just did quick strokes over it in each shade until I got it where I liked it.
DeleteSo so cute! I'll chime in on the general thumb love too. How did you get the wood grain effect?
ReplyDeleteThank you so so much :) The tree trunk (and thumb) were done with acrylic paint because I don't own a brown polish (need to work on that). I just mixed several different shades of brown and just did quick random strokes over it in each shade until I got it where I liked it.
