Hey y'all! Today I have another Halloween nail art idea from my husband. He's a pretty creative guy, I must say.
I used China Glaze Recycled, Sinful Colors Black on Black, Sinful Colors Exotic Green, Sinful Colors Innocent and the light grey is a franken I made. Do you see the rippling on my middle finger? How weird is that? It actually went away once it dried completely. I had this happen a while back with some Tinker Bell nail art I did but it didn't go away. My theory now is that it wasn't my top coat per se, I think it has to do with the heat from my lamp I use. Maybe? I dunno.
His basis for this was that my nails are kind of shaped like tombstones. It is true though. I like the black cat, I thought it was a pretty cute accent to an other wise morbid idea. lol.
This is his drawing he did in my nail art sketch book. Pretty cute huh? ;)
I also made a quick little tutorial for you guys while I was doing these. It's really a very quick and easy Halloween design. If you were feeling adventurous you could add some shading or sponging to the tombstones to give them an older, creepier look and maybe a few little cracks. Adding a little pumpkin would be cute to go along with the cat too. There are a lot of options for this I think.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you like the tutorial. :) XOXO
